District Training Centre

The District Police Training Centre was started on 19.01.2009 by the Hon’ble Minister Sri.Mandali Bhudha Prasad, near TAPASIPUDI Village which is about 12 K.M., away from Bandar Town towards Manginapudi Beach at a distance of 1 K.M from the Sea (Bay of Bengal). During the year 2008, the Collector and District Magistrate, Krishna District allotted 30 acres of land Vide R.C.No.E1/1226/08, dated: 30.05.2008. There is no approach road to D.T.C, from Tapasipudi Village. Only a metal road was laid about 1 K.M. to D.T.C, from Tapasipudi (V) by the panchayat-raj authorities.

The District Police Training Centre, Krishna District, MACHILIPATNAM is consisting of 14 barracks which were constructed by Nagarujna Construction Ltd, Hyderabad.

BARRACKS: - Out of 14 Barracks, 7 Barracks were allotted to accommodation, 3 Barracks were allotted to Class rooms. All barracks equipped with fans and lights. Each trainee allotted one iron cot and bed.

 COMPUTER LAB:-      One Computer lab with 5 systems has been maintained by IT core team, for conducting computer classes to the trainees as per the training schedule.

DINING HALL: - There are two dining halls available, out of two, one was converted as mess store room in which fatigue equipment and other articles were preserved. One barrack was earmarked as dining hall. There are 24 dining tables and 50 benches are available at the dinning hall. At a time 150 trainees can have their food with-out any inconvenience.

Drinking Water: - Mineral water plant which is supplied by Chief Office was installed in DTC for providing pure mineral water to trainees.

 Toilets: - Five Toilet blocks (each block contains 10 toilets) and three Bath tubs are available.

 ROADS: - To avoid dust, internal Gravel Road was arranged by the trainees.
