The centre is an initiative of district police to provide solution to women and other family related complaints through talks and counselling sessions so that family matters could reach a reasonable solution instead of indulging in any legal action against in laws and spouse of the victim women or men.
The objective of the family counselling centre is to work on reconciliation between the couple to convince them of leading the life instead of breaking up. The centre will work in coordination with the police to sort out family disputes caused by dowry harassment, domestic violence etc. People can approach the centre at the centre for reconciliation to avoid divorce.
